Job summary

Radiology Associates of Hartford PLLC is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform a variety of MRI sequences and imaging procedures with independent judgement. You will prepare and position patients, ensure accuracy of exam data, and assist radiologists in clinical workflows.

The role requires knowledge of MRI protocols, ARRT/ARMRIT certification, and a minimum of one year of MRI experience. Strong patient communication and safety focus are essential to maintain quality care and compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience preferred (outpatient experience a plus).
• Knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, and imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI imaging equipment and assist physicians and radiologists as appropriate.
• Explain proper preparation and scanning procedures to patients prior to procedure.
• Prepare and position patient for MRI scanning and ensure patient modesty and privacy.
• Ensure accurate patient information and exam details are entered in systems.
• Provide safety measures and comply with SAR and equipment standards.
• Travel to other office locations for staffing coverage as needed.
• Market to referring physician offices and patients to grow imaging services.
