Job summary

Toi Health seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce diagnostic images under Radiologist direction. The role involves positioning patients, administering contrast, and optimizing image quality while following safety protocols.

Requirements include formal MRI training, ARRT or ARMRIT certification, and an active Florida Radiologic Technologist license. At least 1 year of experience is preferred. Some travel to TOI locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Formal education and training in the field of MRI.
• MRI certification required from ARRT or ARMRIT.
• Active free and clear State of Florida Radiologic Technologist license.

Responsibilities

• Operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
• Selects imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware.
• Positions patients, administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high quality exam.
• Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
• Reviews the MRI Safety Plan and maintains equipment per OEM specifications.
• Travel may be required to existing or new TOI locations.
