Qualifications

• Graduate from a radiologic technology training program.
• Adherence to safety and technical standards.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct order, verify patient identity, and document history.
• Follow imaging protocols and ALARA to optimize safety and quality.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality and verify data transfer and storage.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare staff.
• Apply magnetic resonance safety principles to minimize risks.
• Assist with MRI interventional procedures and imaging tasks.
• Select pulse sequences per protocols and data acquisition factors.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and perform duties proficiently.
