Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and producing high-quality results. You will work within the radiology team to image neuro, body, and extremity regions according to radiologist protocols.

The role requires ARRT MR, ARMRIT or NMTCB with ARRT-MR credentials, along with Specialty Training Program graduation. Strong MRI safety knowledge and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and high-quality imaging practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot MRI equipment and resolve technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced MRI scans of neuro, body, and extremity regions following radiologist protocols.
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and addressing questions.
• Administer IV contrast and perform venous access as directed.
• Enter data into radiology information systems and process images.
• Identify anatomy on images and perform equipment quality control.
• Notify team of equipment issues and manage supply levels.
• Provide radiological support to physicians and liaise within the department.
• Handle non-controlled medications during procedures.
