Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI) in Manhattan is seeking a Radiology Manager – MRI to lead daily operations of six MRI systems, oversee a 30‑person staff, and ensure timely, high‑quality imaging for outpatient care.

You will uphold MR safety, drive ACR accreditation efforts, recruit and develop talent, manage scheduling and supplies, and collaborate with radiologists and researchers to support clinical and research imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and ongoing MR safety training.
• Experience leading MRI teams in high-volume outpatient or academic settings.
• Strong knowledge of MR safety, quality, accreditation, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily technical operations across six MRI systems; schedule supervisory coverage and approve overtime.
• Ensure MR safety training and regulatory compliance for all staff and procedures.
• Serve as point person for ACR accreditation applications and image submission.
• Recruit, orient, and develop staff; conduct performance evaluations and actions as needed.
• Monitor center standards, confidentiality, infection control, waste, and fire safety.
• Oversee productivity reporting and guidance on equipment procurement and upgrades.
• Control supplies and inventory; coordinate with IT on PACS/RIS installation and support.
• Act as escalation point for patient concerns and service recovery.
• Collaborate with radiologists, referring physicians, and research teams on protocol imaging.
