Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts seeks an experienced MRI Supervisor to oversee the MRI department's daily operations, lead technologists, and participate in on-call coverage to ensure safe, high-quality patient imaging.

You will supervise staffing, coordinate scheduling, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor staff, and collaborate with radiologists and nursing to optimize imaging services, with focus on safety, throughput, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in healthcare administration, Radiologic Sciences, or related field.
• ARRT certification required; MR specialty preferred.
• Minimum 5 years MRI clinical experience; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workflow and operations of the MRI department.
• Coordinate staffing to ensure coverage for routine operations, weekends, holidays, and on-call.
• Monitor productivity, patient throughput, and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and nursing to optimize patient care and imaging services.
• Assist budgeting, equipment planning, and resource allocation.
• Lead departmental meetings and communicate updates and expectations.
• Provide mentorship and staff development for MRI personnel.
• Perform MRI procedures and participate in on-call coverage as needed.
