Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Radiologic Sciences, or related field preferred.
• Registered Technologist credential through ARRT required; advanced ARRT certification in MR required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• State licensure, if applicable.
• Minimum of 5 years MRI clinical experience required.
• Leadership/ supervisory or lead technologist experience preferred.
• Experience with advanced MRI procedures and MRI safety practices required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflow and operations of the MRI department.
• Coordinate staffing schedules for coverage including weekends, holidays, and call
• Monitor department productivity, patient throughput, and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with Radiologists, physicians, nursing staff and other departments to optimize patient care.
• Assist with budgeting, equipment planning, and resource allocation.
• Lead departmental meetings and communicate updates and expectations.
• Provide clinical MRI services and act as a mentor for MRI staff and students.
