Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates the technical activities of section imaging staff.
• Plans and schedules work and oversees staffing to ensure coverage.
• Recommends HR actions including hiring, promotions, and PTO schedules.
• Assists in fiscal planning and budgetary oversight for the department.
• Liaises with radiologists and physicians to optimize procedures and equipment.
• Maintains patient assessment and documentation quality for radiology procedures.
• Ensures proper patient communication, care coordination, and safety during imaging.
• Maintains compliance with Lahey Clinic policies and quality initiatives.
• Ensures incident reporting and patient safety protocols are followed.
• Demonstrates clinical and technical radiology competencies and ongoing education.
• Integrates guiding principles and department goals into daily work.
• Performs other duties as needed to support department operations.
• Maintains specialized certifications in the modalities practiced.
