Job summary

Scotland Health Care System seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI scans, position patients correctly, and ensure adherence to department protocols. The role requires ARRT MRI certification, 2+ years of MRI experience, and BLS.

You will coordinate with Radiology staff and maintain equipment to deliver high-quality imaging while upholding safety and compliance standards. Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you interact with physicians, patients, and other departments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years MRI experience and ARRT MRI certification required
• BLS certification is required
• AMA accredited program or equivalent recognized by employer
• Excellent communication and teamwork are essential

Responsibilities

• Perform all MRI scans with proper patient positioning and protocol adherence.
• Greet and explain procedures to patients and families; verify identity and consent.
• Maintain inventory and ensure equipment readiness according to policy.
• Coordinate staff schedules and participate in performance evaluations.
• Ensure department adheres to Joint Commission, DFS, and ACR standards.
