Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Assistant Tech Imaging-MRI for Feinberg Casual Days in Chicago. This 16 hours per week (0.4 FTE) role supports technologists and care teams, prepares rooms, verifies orders, and coordinates patient flow in the Imaging Services department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in healthcare/imaging helpful.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist technologists, nurses, and physicians in imaging procedures.
• Coordinate patient flow and prepare exam rooms and paperwork.
• Verify orders and escort patients as needed.
• Maintain equipment and supply inventories; ensure clean, safe work area.
• Retrieve and manage physician orders from multiple systems (EPIC, Chartview, Powerchart).
