Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner to acquire diagnostic images for disease diagnosis and patient management.
• Ensure MRI safety principles are applied in the MRI environment and patient care.
• Review exam requests for appropriateness with radiologists as needed.
• Schedule exams to optimize MRI scanner time while remaining flexible for emergencies.
• Perform various MRI/MRA exams and collaborate with radiologists on non-standard exams.
• Determine technical factors and positioning to meet exam requirements.
• Notify radiologists of results requiring immediate attention.
• Maintain infection control and sterile technique; utilize vascular access as needed.
• Manage workflow and data collection for performance improvement under MRI Supervisor.
