Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a rotating shift, PRN MRI/CT Technician in Roswell, NM to perform CT and MRI imaging and operate equipment under physician direction. The role requires an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences, NM licensure within one year, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Preferred candidates have ARRT/ARDMS or equivalent registration, and an additional Bachelor’s degree or formal CT/MRI education. Three years hospital experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences required.
• Licensure in NM within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ARRT/ARDMS or equivalent registration or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and MRI cross-sectional imaging and related procedures as directed by a licensed physician.
• Operate and monitor CT and MRI equipment.
• May assist in other areas as requested.
• Adhere to policies and regulations to ensure patient safety.

• Lovelace Regional Hospital includes 24/7 emergency services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, surgical and birthing services for Roswell and the surrounding community.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing both CT and MRI cross-sectional imaging and other related procedures as directed by a licensed physician.
• Operates and monitors CT and MRI equipment.
• May assist in other areas as requested.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent.
• Training in Radiology, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and/or Cross-Sectional Anatomy.
• ARRT, ARDMS, or equivalent registered or eligible; Full State of New Mexico licensure required within one year of hire. Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree; Formal CT and/or MRI Education.
• Three (3) years of experience in a hospital environment.
