Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a variable shift, PRN CT Technician to perform Computed Tomography imaging and support the Radiology team. The role includes potential clerical duties and maintaining accurate records and schedules.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent, one year of radiologic experience, ARRT/ARDMS or equivalent credentials, NM licensure within one year, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency with pressure injectors and cross-sectional anatomy knowledge.
• Radiology safety and sterile technique must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Performs Computed Tomography imaging procedures.
• May provide clerical support to the assigned department (records, phones, scheduling).
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure safety.

• Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services.

Responsibilities

• Performs Computed Tomography imaging procedures.
• May provide clerical support to the assigned department, including but not limited to maintaining records, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent.
• Basic Computer skills; Proficient with pressure injectors; Cross-sectional anatomy; Sterile techniques and patient monitoring. Radiation safety.
• One (1) year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT, ARDMS, or equivalent registered or eligible.
• Full State of New Mexico licensure is required within one year of hire. Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree.
• One year of experience as a CT Technologist.
