Job summary

626 is seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Service Engineer to install, service, and repair advanced imaging systems, focusing on GE MRI and CT equipment. The role involves field work across a 4-hour radius, with frequent travel to client sites and hands-on diagnostics.

Ideal candidates have a strong electro-mechanical background, a high school diploma or higher, and may hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or physics fields.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or Physics (MRI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair diagnostic imaging equipment, GE MRI and CT, with electro-mechanical expertise.
• Travel to customer sites and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Document service activities and maintain equipment records.
• Communicate with account managers and colleagues during service work.
• Maintain, calibrate, and test imaging equipment to ensure uptime.
• Submit field service reports timely and according to standards.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and calibration of imaging systems.
• Maintain company assets required to perform job functions.
