Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a dependable MRI Tech Aide to support the MRI Department at 541 Main Street, Weymouth, MA. This 20-hour weekly role involves assisting clinicians with patient care, exam prep, transport, and room turnover in a fast-paced setting.

Under licensed supervision, you will help ensure patient comfort, safety, and smooth department workflow while following MRI safety guidelines and using standard computer systems and EMR tools. Prior clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One to two years of patient care or healthcare support experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
• Comfort with electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist MRI technologists, nurses, radiologists and clinical staff with patient care and exam prep.
• Provide patient transport and room turnover to support workflow.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
• Follow established safety protocols within the MRI environment.
