Job summary

Shultz Steel Company is seeking a quality support professional focused on MRB processes to ensure accurate routing, traceability, and timely disposition handling. The role involves organizing MRB routers, maintaining travelers and parts, and updating the MRB Tracker daily.

You will coordinate with Quality Engineers, Production, and Planning to resolve nonconformances, support audits, and uphold 6S in MRB storage areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, logistics, inventory control, or similar roles preferred.
• Experience in aerospace or metal forging environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organize MRB routers and ensure routers are scanned and filed in the correct system location.
• Maintain full traceability of MRB travelers and associated parts in physical and digital locations.
• Update MRB Tracker daily to ensure dispositions are completed within timelines.
• Move parts promptly once disposition is issued (rework, scrap, return-to-vendor, repair).
• Ensure MRB parts and travelers continue moving through the process to meet span-time requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality Engineers, Production, and Planning for timely resolution of nonconforming material.
• Support internal and customer audits by providing MRB documentation and traceability records.
• Maintain good 6S practices in MRB storage and work areas.
• Perform other Quality support tasks as required.
