Job summary

Aviso, LLC is seeking a NCMR/MRB Coordinator for an on-site role in San Jose, CA. The position entails managing non-conforming materials, quarantining items, and ensuring proper disposition in alignment with QMS and ISO 13485.

The role requires 3+ years in warehouse/inventory/quality roles, ERP experience (QAD/SAP/Propel), and travel to the Fremont 3PL as needed. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; 4-month contract with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in warehouse operations, inventory control, or quality assurance with direct experience managing non-conforming materials (NCMR / NCR / MRB).
• Medical device experience (ISO 13485) strongly preferred; other regulated environments considered.
• Experience using ERP software (QAD, SAP, or similar) and Quality/NCMR tools (Propel preferred).
• Ability to operate manual material handling equipment and move inventory weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Travel between San Jose and Fremont sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Non-Conforming Material Containment: Segregate, organize, and label non-conforming items, components, and incoming materials within designated quarantine zones.
• System & Inventory Transactions: Perform inventory movements and dispositions in QAD (ERP) and Propel (NCMR module). Ensure approvals before releasing, scrapping, returning, or transferring materials.
• Quality & Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to ISO 13485 and prevent unauthorized release of non-conforming materials.
• 3PL Coordination: Coordinate material shipments to/from the Fremont 3PL facility; occasional local travel for inspection and quarantine.
• Material Handling & Inventory Control: Operate pallet jacks, perform cycle counts, maintain tags, and ensure inventory accuracy.
