Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking an Entry Level Material Coordinator / Material Handler for a 12-month, 40-hour workweek contract on W2. This on-site role requires 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, 1st shift, on-site.

Responsibilities include coordinating material flow, Kanban material supplies, inventory counts, and liaising with production and warehouse teams. Must have strong teamwork and familiarity with SAP; familiarity with FedEx systems is a plus; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and ability to read and write English.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably medical device manufacturing.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform manual calculations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between production lines according to the production schedule.
• Keep production area supplied with kanban raw materials and perform Kanban audits.
• Transfer released product to warehouse and maintain organized production area.
• Requisition materials for production area and track shortages.
• Generate documentation for material movement and ensure smooth flow of materials.
