Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks a Liaison Engineer to resolve engineering issues during Leo production operations, working with Manufacturing and Quality teams on non-conformances and dispositions.

You will perform MRB-related reviews, develop DFMs and corrective actions, and conduct root-cause analyses, while coordinating with suppliers and internal customers to ensure flight readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in a Liaison Engineer / MRB role with aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review and disposition non-conformance events across Leo operations: procurement to orbital operations.
• Develop standard repairs, rework procedures, and DFMs for improvements.
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Document static, dynamic and fatigue analyses to support dispositions.
• Interact with internal customers, external customers, and suppliers.
• Provide engineering support to manufacturing and assembly processes.
