Jabil in Florence, KY seeks an Inventory Control Lead to supervise daily operations per our inventory control procedures. You will drive accuracy in receiving, stocking, and shipping, and partner with production, quality, and engineering to resolve issues quickly.

The role focuses on minimizing processing times, improving scheduling, and maintaining precise records while adhering to safety policies and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations as defined in the inventory control procedures.
• Assist in monitoring performance of the department and assurance of optimum performance.
• Drive for shortest processing time possible on all received material and continually improve processing time performance.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and visual aids are in proper working order and up to date.
• Provide feedback to Inventory Control and Quality departments and assist with problem solving related to schedules, equipment, documentation, and personnel.
• Interface with departmental supervisors, engineering, program management, and other plant functions.
• Maintain accuracy of records for shipping, receiving and stockroom documents.
• Verify aging of material in receiving and shipping locations and ensure material accuracy.
• Ensure production line receives correct parts for manufacturing and material is stocked promptly and accurately.
• Eliminate errors affecting quality, budget, and department efficiency.
• Identify performance issues and strengths for team members to Inventory Control supervisors.
• Adhere to safety/health rules and company security policies.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
