Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Quality / Final Inspector to join the Mount Joy, PA 1st shift team. You will perform final inspections of precision-machined components and finished products, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and customer specifications using CMM, RAM, and OGP equipment.

The role requires 3–5 years in quality control, AS9100 knowledge, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree is a plus.
• Three to five years experience in quality control.
• GD&T understanding and ability to inspect features.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Must pass P3 inspection skill evaluation.
• Working knowledge of AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspections on machine components and finished products.
• Use RAM, CMM, and OGP to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect products from production suppliers for conformance.
• Set up, program and operate measuring systems to verify prints.
• Prioritize tasks and communicate results to Engineering and Management.
• Train others on OGP, CMM and RAM equipment usage.
• Troubleshoot inspection issues with production teams.
• Enter and track inspection data in SAP.
• Coordinate source inspections and host customer inspections.
• Support internal audits and continuous quality improvement.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality / Final Inspector to join our 1st shift team in Mount Joy, PA. In this role, you will perform final inspections of precision-machined components and finished products, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, customer specifications, and quality standards. Using tools such as CMM, OGP, and RAM systems, you will verify product quality, troubleshoot inspection issues, support customer audits and source inspections, and collaborate closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to drive quality excellence.

Final Inspector's Responsibilities

• Perform final inspections on machine components
• Use standard inspection equipment including RAM, CMM, and OGP
• Inspect Product from production suppliers
• Set up, program and operate measuring systems to determine whether parts meet print dimensions
• Establish daily priorities and determine the most important tasks to perform at any given time of the day
• Use various software applications including Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word
• Communicate the results of inspections to Engineering, Inspection and Management
• Train other employees on the use of the OGP Vidoe/Probe, CMM, RAM and other more standard measurement equipment
• Work with production personnel to troubleshoot and solve issues related to inspection of components, or other similar problems
• Enter, pull and track data in SAP software.
• Organize source inspections on specific product lines.
• Host Customer source inspections/work closely with end customers to ship product.
• Other duties may be assigned.

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). What Your Background Should Look Like

• HS Diploma or equivalent work experience; Associate's degree in technical specialty is a plus
• Three to five experience in quality control
• CMM programming skills preferred but not required
• Thorough understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and ability to measure features for this criteria.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Must pass P3 inspection skill evaluation
• Working knowledge of AS9100.

Compensation

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $51,100 – $76,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
