Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI) seeks an experienced MQ-9 LRE Sensor Operator to join our Aero Services Division. You will operate the sensor/payload on the UAV and assist the Pilot-In-Command during ground and flight operations, including mission planning and debriefing.

The role requires deployment capability CONUS/OCONUS with a flex rotation and full benefits. The position emphasizes safe operations, training, and instruction of UAV students, with travel and regulatory

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with five or more years of UAV operations or aviation experience.
• Extensive understanding of UAVs, FAA principles, theories and concepts.

Responsibilities

• Operate the UAV sensor/payload on ground and in flight.
• Assist the Pilot-In-Command with mission planning, briefing, execution and debriefing.
• Instruct UAV student Sensor Operators and qualify in multiple aircraft.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company procedures.
• Travel CONUS and OCONUS as required.
