Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI) seeks an experienced MQ-9 LRE Sensor Operator for its Aero Services Division. The role supports ground and flight operations, assisting the PIC and crew in mission planning, execution, and safety, with deployment rotations of 12–16 weeks on and 12 weeks off, plus full benefits.

Employees may live in any state and deploy CONUS/OCONUS; flexible deployment and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Typically requires education or formal training equivalent to the completion of a High School diploma or equivalent and five or more years of experience (or 1,000+ hours) in UAV operations or aviation.
• Must demonstrate an extensive understanding of UAV and FAA principles, theories and concepts.

Responsibilities

• Operate the UAV sensor/payload during ground and flight operations.
• Assist the Pilot-In-Command (PIC) with mission planning, briefing, and debriefing.
• Provide academic and in-flight instruction to UAV students when required.
• Maintain safety and compliance with regulations during all operations.
