Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration is seeking an experienced MQ-9 LRE Sensor Operator for deployment in support of Aero Services Division. The role involves operating UAV sensor payloads, coordinating with the Pilot-In-Command, and ensuring mission safety and success across CONUS/OCONUS deployments.

You will participate in mission planning, briefing, execution, debriefing, and instructional duties while maintaining full benefits on Flex Hourly deployments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years in UAV operations or aviation.
• Extensive understanding of UAV and FAA principles.
• Ability to obtain customer-specific security clearance.
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ground and flight operations, including mission planning, briefing and debriefing.
• Operate UAV sensor payload during all flight phases to support missions.
• Support training and continuation education for aircrew.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety procedures.
• Instruct UAV student SOs when required.
