Job summary

A leading defense contractor is seeking a part-time MQ-9 Instructor SME to deliver specialized courseware and provide academic instruction. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in aviation or a related field, along with significant flying experience and a security clearance of 'Secret' or above. As the Subject Matter Expert, you will ensure courseware relevance, conduct training, and monitor student progress. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have flying experience (pilot or sensor) within the past seven years.
• Minimum of 500 flying hours with the MQ-9 aircraft.
• Instructor experience and 1000 hours in the MQ-9 aircraft is desired.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for their aircraft.
• Conduct academic instruction and remedial student training.
• Monitor Stan Eval trends and initiate revisions in courseware.
• Develop courseware and monitor its currency.
• Coordinate lesson revision input with other SMEs.
