Job summary

Crew Training International seeks a Fighter Instructor SME/CRM to deliver CTI-developed courseware in a classroom setting at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. The role is part-time and requires current USAF fighter/attack aircraft experience and a Secret or higher clearance.

The instructor will update courseware, monitor currency, and serve as the client interface while traveling as needed and using MS Office tools for material preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation or related field.
• Flying experience within the past ten years and 500 flying hours in any current USAF fighter/attack aircraft.
• Instructor experience and 1000 hours in USAF fighter/attack aircraft.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; detail oriented; able to work with little supervision.
• Security clearance of Secret or above.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the SME for the primary aircraft by providing technical content for courseware.
• Monitor Stan Eval trends and revise courseware to address customer trends.
• Monitor courseware currency in assigned academic areas.
• Develop courseware/monitor courseware currency for assigned aircraft and areas.
• Provide content input for all lesson revisions where SME.
• Coordinate lesson revision input with other I/SMEs.
• Identify areas of instruction requiring immediate attention.
• Review aircraft and operations publications for updates to be incorporated.
• Serve as the interface between the customer and CTI.
• Perform other incidental duties (business development, CRM research, etc.).

Purpose of Position

Deliver CTI developed courseware through instruction/facilitation in a classroom environment and develop aircraft specific CRM courseware.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Science / Arts degree in aviation or related field.

Training and Experience: Must have flying experience within the past ten (10) years and a minimum of 500 flying hours in any current USAF fighter or attack aircraft.

Desired Experience: Instructor experience and 1000 hours in any current USAF fighter or attack aircraft.

General Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, detail oriented, flexible in work assignments, work with little to no supervision, and enthusiastic. Ability to travel extensively as required.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Security Clearance: Currently must possess security clearance of "Secret" or above.
