Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Software Engineering Mid-Level Manager (Level L) for the MQ-25 Program to lead the Vehicle Management Systems software activities in Hazelwood, MO. You will manage a team of real-time embedded software, GNC, and hardware engineers to deliver safety-critical software integrated with flight control and subsystem coordination.

The role reports to the Level 2 IPT Lead and involves full lifecycle management from requirements through flight test, with travel up to 10%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate of Science in engineering/computer science/math/physics/chemistry or technical field.
• 5+ years leading software engineering teams.
• 3+ years program management including scheduling and EVM.
• Experience in Agile Software Development.

Responsibilities

• Manage software engineers through the software development life-cycle.
• Provide leadership focused on developing individuals' skills and abilities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with peers, business partners, customers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate to develop and execute project and process plans, and roadmaps.
