The Boeing Company in Hazelwood, MO seeks a MQ-25 Vehicle Management System (VMS) Software Lead Engineer to guide embedded real-time software for the VMSC onboard the MQ-25 aircraft. You will drive architecture, design and integration with a focus on flight-critical systems.

You will lead 10+ engineers, develop verification plans, and mentor the team while ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards; US citizenship and clearance are required; bachelor's degree and extensive experience in

Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).
Bachelor's Degree required; extensive software experience expected.
14+ years as a Software Engineer in real-time embedded systems.
5+ years leading teams or initiatives.

Responsabilidades

Leads development of architectures, requirements, interfaces and designs for software systems.
Leads code development and integration of complex components into a full system.
Develops verification plans, procedures and environments and documents results.
Leads 10+ engineers on VMSC development and black box tests for embedded systems.
Provides technical leadership and manages software supplier activities.
Trains and mentors others and represents the organization on advanced projects.
