Job summary

The Boeing Company in Hazelwood, MO is seeking an Air Dominance Loads & Dynamics Manager for the MQ-25 team. You will lead a loads and dynamics group, oversee flight and ground loads, and guide the integrated product team through the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field
• 5+ years of Loads & Dynamics engineering experience
• At least 1 year in a leadership role OR completed Boeing internal leadership course 'Exploring Leadership'
• Experience with program and customer interactions and cost control accounts
• Mentoring or technical lead experience beneficial
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the success of a diverse loads and dynamics team within an integrated product team structure
• Manage a team of 8-16 engineers in Flight Engineering
• Develop project plans aligned with program objectives
• Implement plans to meet business, technical and customer requirements
• Assign authority and responsibilities to employees for product design and development
• Review plan execution and resolve issues
• Monitor metrics to ensure performance to plan
• Report cost, schedule, and technical performance to program leadership
• Forecast resource needs and make hiring decisions
• Coach and provide developmental opportunities
• Ensure employees work effectively and adhere to policies
• Provide ongoing developmental feedback
• Enforce ethical, safety and security policies
