Job summary

WorldNet Telecommunications seeks a Core Data Network Specialist to configure, repair, and maintain its data network infrastructure in Guaynabo, PR. You will ensure system uptime and optimal performance across MPLS, routers, switches, and related devices.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of hands-on experience with MPLS, OSPF/BGP, and network troubleshooting. You will work on-call rotations and coordinate with field and NOC teams to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of direct experience in related environment.
• Hands-on application of a broad variety of tools and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot MPLS network and related systems.
• Handle Service Orders and Trouble Tickets according to standards.
• Assist field and NOC technicians with installations, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Troubleshoot MPLS, IP, and Data network problems and provide sound engineering solutions.
• Work a rotation of 24hr On-call shift.
