Job summary

Tufts University School of Medicine, Office of Graduate Student Services, is seeking an Admissions Counselor for the MPH program to guide applicants from inquiry to completed application. You will provide personalized support, build relationships, and manage outreach across channels.

The role includes hybrid work with onsite presence two days per week, travel to regional and national events, and collaboration with the MPH team to achieve enrollment goals and deliver an exceptional candidate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in admissions or related field.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel regionally.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse audiences.
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for prospective MPH students from inquiry through completed application.
• Outreach via phone, email, text, and virtual channels to cultivate relationships and encourage applications.
• Advise applicants on deadlines, requirements, and program offerings.
• Conduct virtual and in-person meetings to assess goals and program fit.
• Collaborate with MPH admissions team to support enrollment goals and seamless transitions.
• Represent Tufts at information sessions, open houses, and recruitment events.
• Travel regionally and nationally to recruit prospective students.
