Job summary

Pruitt Tool & Supply Co. is seeking independent contractors with MPD expertise for US land and Gulf of Mexico projects. You will install MPD equipment on rig sites, monitor operations, troubleshoot issues, and prepare detailed reports and documentation.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in oil and gas drilling or well service, plus leadership experience or a petroleum engineering degree, and may hold Well Control certifications. Travel and 12-hour shift rotations are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in oil and gas drilling or well service experience and either 2 years' experience as an oilfield supervisor or a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering.
• Level 3 and 4 Well Control certification and hydraulics modeling software experience encouraged to apply.
• Must work autonomously as well as part of a team with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions, mechanical aptitude, and good communication; troubleshoot problems logically.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Seeking Independent Contractors for MPD Operations!

Are you an experienced professional in Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) operations? We are seeking talented individuals to work as independent contractors on various US land and Gulf of Mexico based projects. You will work on rig sites installing MPD equipment, monitoring operations, troubleshooting issues, preparing reports and documentation and utilizing hydraulics modeling software.

Requirements:

• 2 years' experience in oil and gas drilling or well service experience and either 2 years' experience as an oilfield supervisor OR must hold a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering.
• Candidates with Level 3 and 4 Well Control and experience with hydraulics modeling software/calculations are encouraged to apply.
• Incumbents must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Candidates chosen will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills; the ability to make quick decisions; a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills; an aptitude for troubleshooting problems using logic and critical thinking and a basic understanding of pneumatic and/or electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in MPD operations
• Strong understanding of MPD techniques and equipment

Travel is a job requirement, and individuals will work 12-hour shifts for up to 4-5 weeks at a time on a rotational basis.

Candidates must pass a drug test and have a clean driving record.
