Job summary

Transocean is seeking an experienced MPD Supervisor to lead offshore MPD operations on floating rigs. You will oversee MPD calculations, procedures, and coordination with the Drilling Superintendent and OIM, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of offshore MPD experience, a Well Control certificate, and proficiency with hydraulic modelling software, along with strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Well Control certificate per training matrix.
• 5+ years offshore MPD experience.
• Proof of medical examination and vaccinations.
• Knowledge of all technical calculations for safe drilling operations.
• OEM MPD operations training preferred.
• Ability to use hydraulic modelling software.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Fully knowledgeable in all MPD operations on floating drilling vessels.
• Prepare operational procedures for MPD tasks with supervisor approval.
• Monitor MPD calculations and update operations matrices.
• Supervise MPD personnel and coordinate with the Drilling Superintendent / OIM.
