Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Sterling Heights, MI seeks a Senior MP&L Launch Coordinator to support manufacturing launches. You will provide MRC updates, manage parts, coordinate packaging approvals, and maintain PFEP information while leading the MP&L launch team and ensuring timely staff training.

With 3+ years in supply chain and strong communication, you’ll drive tasks across PTME, Production, and Safety, and coordinate daily logistics and material-flow plans for successful launches.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Supply Chain / Logistics.
• Excellent communicator able to train hourly and salaried staff.
• Proactive, takes ownership with limited supervision.
• Demonstrates ONE FORD leadership behaviors and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide MRC updates to support SMART system implementation.
• Pick parts from new-model parts cribs for special runs.
• Coordinate corporate packaging reviews and approvals.
• Maintain PFEP information.
• Resolve CMMS data issues and align material-flow plans.
• Lead MP&L launch team and manage timing plan.
• Ensure training for plant launch team is on schedule.
• Coordinate plant-wide RFS requests with Quality, MP&L and others.
• Arrange logistics including FedEx, DHL, air freight, and ocean freight.
• Handle daily customer returns from internal suppliers.
• Resolve shipment issues and customs clearance.
• Fill GPIRS orders.
