Job summary

Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is seeking a Mozzarella Clerk to join the Pasta & Mozzarella Department. You will handcraft fresh mozzarella, stretch and shape curd, and ensure every batch meets our high standards.

You will weigh ingredients, package products, and keep displays well stocked in a fast-paced kitchen setting. We value a positive attitude and willingness to learn mozzarella art; basic English skills are required and prior cheese-making experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in cheese-making or food production is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Handcraft fresh mozzarella using curd; heat, stretch, and shape.
• Ensure each batch meets quality standards using your senses.
• Record ingredient weights, batch sizes, and daily production details.
• Weigh, package, and label mozzarella; keep displays stocked.
• Maintain a clean, food-safe workspace and assist with cleaning.
• Share mozzarella-making know-how with customers; engage them.
