Job summary

LyondellBasell invites applications for a MOWP & SAP Specialist in Houston, TX. The role requires deep SAP PM expertise, experience in chemical plant maintenance, and the ability to drive continuous improvement with IT collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in chemical plant or refinery operations or maintenance preferred.
• 5+ years in maintenance planning, scheduling, or supervisory role in chemical plant or refinery.
• Knowledge of Primavera, Prometheus Scheduler, Microsoft Project or similar.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP PM and MM; SAP PS preferred but not required.
• Ability to partner with IT and SAP teams to optimize system functionality.
• Strong understanding of maintenance lifecycle and HSE requirements.
• Experience developing and tracking maintenance KPIs with data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze maintenance processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements.
• Assess site maintenance organizations and identify opportunities to strengthen performance.
• Close gaps across the full maintenance workflow; support adoption of best practices.
• Develop methodologies to improve time and cost estimations using standards and field experience.
• Create procedures and training materials for planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
• Define and monitor KPIs to measure maintenance process effectiveness.
• Serve as SAP PM owner and coordinate IT enhancements with site teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of SAP PM functionality with user feedback and testing.
