Job summary

4US Moving LLC in Southern California is seeking a Moving Helper to join a crew led by a Foreman. You will move homes and offices, load and unload trucks, wrap and pad furniture, and ensure safe handling of items.

This role supports full-time or part-time schedules with early starts and rotating weekends across Southern California. Starting pay is $20/hour plus overtime; punctuality, reliability and clear English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have professional moving-industry experience.
• Must be 18+ and legally allowed to work in the U.S.
• Able to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs.
• Reliable transport to Downtown Los Angeles depot.
• Available for early starts, weekends, and longer days in peak season.
• Clear English communication with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and pack household and office items safely and efficiently
• Wrap and pad furniture; disassemble and reassemble basic pieces
• Carry items up and down stairs and through tight spaces without damage to the item or the building
• Follow the Foreman's plan for the truck and the day
• Keep the truck, equipment and job site clean and organized
• Be courteous and professional with customers, building staff and neighbors

Moving Helper About the Role

Helpers are the muscle and the manners of every 4US move. You'll work on a crew led by a Foreman, moving homes and offices across Southern California — Downtown LA high-rises, Orange County two-stories, Inland Empire garages — with 24–26 ft box trucks and the right equipment.

We hire experienced movers: you already know how to wrap a dresser and load a truck, and we'll show you the 4US way of doing it. Show up on time, work safely, treat people's belongings like your own, and there's a clear path to Foreman and Driver.

On-site — Reports to our Downtown Los Angeles depot · jobs across Southern California

Full-time or part-time · early-morning starts · weekends in rotation · longer days in peak season (summer)

What You'll Do

• Load, unload and pack household and office items safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For

• Professional moving-industry experience — required for every role at 4US Moving (Helper: at least one season with a professional moving company)
• 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to lift and carry 75+ lbs repeatedly, climb stairs and stay on your feet for full shifts, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Reliable transportation to our Downtown Los Angeles depot at the start of each shift
• Available for early starts, weekends in rotation and long days in peak season — full-time or part-time
• Communicate clearly with customers and teammates in English

Nice to Have

• Packing-services experience
• Piano or specialty-item experience
• Spanish or another second language
