Olympia Moving is seeking a Moving Foreman at our Watertown, MA location. You will lead and mentor a crew on residential and commercial moves, communicate with clients on-site, and coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure a smooth moving process.

The role demands physical capability, reliability, and a proactive, team-focused attitude. A high school diploma or GED is required, with sign-on bonuses and overtime opportunities available.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to undergo a criminal background investigation.
• Above average energy, attention to detail, and organization skills.
• Ability to lift 50-75+ pounds regularly.
• Able to stand 6 to 10 hours a day.
• Must be a team player and ready to tackle any challenge.
• Available for on-time very early a.m. dispatch.
• High school or GED equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, train, and mentor a moving team.
• Communicate with clients as the primary on-site contact.
• Collaborate with operations, warehouse, and staff.
• Use resources to solve problems and overcome obstacles.
• Work on both residential and commercial moving jobs.
• Train on how to pack household items; from books to dishes to antiques.
• Assist with and direct team to carry heavy items up & down stairs.
• Ensure crew protects the home and furniture with moving pads.
• Train and assist others on best practices to disassemble & re-assemble furniture and equipment.
• Complete billing, paperwork, inventories and reporting on a mobile platform.
