Job summary

Olympia Moving is hiring for a Driver/Mover at our Watertown, MA headquarters. The role offers full-time hours with day, night, and weekend shifts. You will drive a 26 ft box truck, load and unload items, and assist with packing and arranging spaces according to customer specifications.

We provide uniforms, health and dental plans, a 401(k) match, paid holidays and vacation, and a sign-on bonus of $1,800. Training, overtime opportunities, and flexible scheduling are available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required; DOT card if applicable.
• Clean motor vehicle driving record.
• Ability to drive a 26 ft box truck and complete inspections/logs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Reliable transportation to branch location.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.

Responsibilities

• Move and transport furniture and appliances; load and unload items.
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed.
• Pack smaller items and protect fragile goods during transit.
• Unpack items at destination and arrange in customer spaces as directed.
• Maintain and inspect vehicle equipment; fuel and basic safety checks.
• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
