Olympia Moving & Storage is hiring a Crew Chief with residential, commercial, or specialty moving experience. Starting hourly wages are $25.00 to $35.00, with overtime and tips potential. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualifying experience.

We offer full-time, flexible schedules, seasonal uniforms, low-cost health and dental plans, a 401(k) match, and paid holidays and vacation. Candidates must be 18+, have transportation and a valid license, and pass a background check.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have reliable transportation to branch location and valid driver's license.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Must be willing to undergo a criminal background investigation.
• Able to lift 50-75+ pounds regularly.
• Able to stand 6-10 hours per day.

Mansioni

• Lead, train, and mentor a moving team.
• Communicate with clients as the primary on-site contact.
• Collaborate with operations, warehouse, and staff.
• Assist with and direct team to carry heavy items up and down stairs.
• Protect homes and furniture during moves.
• Disassemble and re-assemble furniture as needed.
• Complete billing, paperwork, inventories, and reporting on a mobile platform.

Compensation And Benefits

• Competitive hourly wages starting at $ 25.00-$35.00 per hour with opportunity for tips and overtime; sign on bonus for experience crew chief meeting set criteria
  • Top Crew Chiefs (traditionally known as Foreman) are earnings in range between $70,000 and $130,000 per year (wages, tips, referral incentives, bonus included)
  • $10,000 Sign On Bonus paid out during year 1 for those who meet qualifications

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Ability to lift 50-75+ pounds regularly
• Ability to be on your feet 6 to 10 hours a day

• Available for on-time very early a.m. dispatch
• High school or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

Every day is different, but you will be expected to:

• Always represent Olympia Moving to the best of your ability
• Lead, train, and mentor a moving team
• Communicate with clients as the primary on-site contact
• Collaborate with operations, warehouse, and staff
• Use your resources to solve problems and overcome obstacles
• Work on both residential and commercial moving jobs
• Train and coach others on how to pack household items; from books to dishes to antiques
• Assist with and direct team to carry heavy items up & down stairs
• Ensure crew protects the home: doors, stairs, floors and walls and protect furniture and equipment with moving pads
• Train and assist others on best practices to disassemble & re-assemble furniture and equipment
• Complete billing, paperwork, inventories and reporting on a mobile platform
