Job summary

Marcus Theatres is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead guest service and theatre operations. The role involves supervising hourly staff and ensuring a clean, safe, and financially accountable environment. Reports to the General Manager/Manager and supports operations across multiple shifts.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with college coursework in business/marketing preferred. Availability Monday through Sunday, including holidays, is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in Business Management and Marketing preferred.
• Ability to obtain local licenses as required (food handling, bartending).

Responsibilities

• Lead theatre operations and guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Supervise hourly staff, motivate and coach to high performance.
• Assist General Manager with hiring, training and staff development.
• Manage cash handling, inventory, and adherence to policies.
• Drive sales and loyalty registration, and ensure PCI compliance.
