Job summary

Coleman Worldwide Moving is seeking drivers to load, transport, and unload household goods in the Corpus Christi area. This role offers growth opportunities and a starting wage of $16.50 per hour, contingent on experience. A clean driving record and compliance with our zero-tolerance drug policy are required.

Responsibilities include leading crews, inspecting shipments, maintaining logs, and ensuring safety and DOT regulations are followed. Local and interstate travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Willing to travel locally and interstate.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead the crew in loading shipments onto or off of the truck.
• Inspect shipments prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipments.
• Assist with loading trucks/containers for forward movement via interstate commerce.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on the moving equipment and truck.
• Maintain documentation for shipments, expenses, driver logs and DOT compliance.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.
