Job summary

Tharp Custom Cabinetry is seeking a Mover / Delivery Driver to load cabinets and parts at the plant, then deliver them safely to end users across Colorado. This role requires safe handling, loading/unloading, and professional customer interaction.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of previous experience driving delivery trucks.
• Colorado driver's license and driving record meeting Tharp's requirements.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform required physical activities.
• Safe, professional interaction with customers.

Responsibilities

• Load cabinets and parts into a truck safely and securely.
• Locate missing parts needed to complete shipments.
• Drive delivery vehicles across Colorado to customers.
• Unload and inspect loads for damage.
• Perform DOT-compliant vehicle inspections.
• Clean and maintain the delivery vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position has a base rate of $22-$26/HOR DOE.

General Purpose:

The Mover / Delivery Driver loads product at the plant and delivers it safely to the end user. This is normally the last step in the process of filling a customer’s order.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Load cabinets and parts into a truck in a safe manner ensuring the load is well-protected and secure
• Locate missing parts needed to complete shipment
• Drive Tharp’s delivery vehicles, mostly large straight trucks, throughout Colorado when delivering cabinets and parts.
• Unload cabinets and parts at destination and inspect load for any damage that may have occurred in transit
• Conduct vehicle inspections per DOT regulations
• Clean and Maintain vehicle
• Other duties as assigned

Contractors, customers, and the public on a routine basis

Equipment

Delivery truck, hand dolly, loading and securing devices

Requirements

At least 6 months of previous experience driving delivery trucks

Physical Activities and Safety

10% standing, 60% walking, 30 % sitting - Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Strict adherence to Tharp’s safety policy including wearing safety glasses where required. A back brace and gloves are recommended and provided.

• Good judgment in all aspects of the job, i.e. loading efficiency, securing the load, locating the destination and safely unloading the materials

Education or Formal Training:

H.S. Diploma/GED preferred but not required

Colorado Drivers license and driving record that meets Tharp’s requirements
