Job summary

Tharp Cabinet Company in Loveland, CO is hiring a Mover/Delivery Driver to load and deliver cabinets and parts to customers across Colorado. You will drive large straight trucks, inspect loads, and ensure secure and safe transport of materials.

The role requires at least 6 months of delivery driving experience, a valid Colorado driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. DOE base pay ranges from $22 to $26 per hour with benefits provided.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of previous experience driving delivery trucks.
• Colorado Driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load cabinets and parts into a truck in a safe manner ensuring the load is well-protected and secure
• Locate missing parts needed to complete shipment
• Drive delivery vehicles, mostly large straight trucks, throughout Colorado when delivering cabinets and parts.
• Unload cabinets and parts at destination and inspect load for any damage that may have occurred in transit
• Conduct vehicle inspections per DOT regulations
• Clean and Maintain vehicle
• Other duties as assigned

This position has a base rate of $22-$26/HOR DOE.

General Purpose:

The Mover / Delivery Driver loads product at the plant and delivers it safely to the end user. This is normally the last step in the process of filling a customer’s order.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Load cabinets and parts into a truck in a safe manner ensuring the load is well-protected and secure
• Locate missing parts needed to complete shipment
• Drive Tharp’s delivery vehicles, mostly large straight trucks, throughout Colorado when delivering cabinets and parts.
• Unload cabinets and parts at destination and inspect load for any damage that may have occurred in transit
• Conduct vehicle inspections per DOT regulations
• Clean and Maintain vehicle
• Other duties as assigned

Contractors, customers, and the public on a routine basis

Equipment

Delivery truck, hand dolly, loading and securing devices

Requirements

At least 6 months of previous experience driving delivery trucks

Physical Activities and Safety

10% standing, 60% walking, 30 % sitting - Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Strict adherence to Tharp’s safety policy including wearing safety glasses where required. A back brace and gloves are recommended and provided.

Education or Formal Training:

H.S. Diploma/GED preferred but not required

Colorado Drivers license and driving record that meets Tharp’s requirements
