Job summary

Cabinetworks Group is seeking a delivery associate in Aurora, CO to load cabinets, deliver to customers, and assist drivers on routes. You will lift substantial weights, use dollies and straps, and maintain logs with attention to safety and accuracy.

The role emphasizes reliable, professional customer service and adherence to hard hat safety requirements while performing daily operations for local and out-of-state deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Receive delivery orders and load cabinets for delivery.
  • Load and unload orders for local and out-of-state trucks.
  • Safely operate hand-truck/dolly and cabinet-moving equipment.
  • Maintain daily delivery logs and perform basic vehicle checks.
  • Assist driver with loading/delivery when not driving.

Job description

BASIC FUNCTION

Receives delivery orders from Delivery Foreman as needed: follows assigned routes, loads cabinets in sequence of delivery, and unloads cabinets at destination. Safely utilize hand-truck/dolly and truck ramp to assist in the loading of cabinets and any/all cabinets, material, parts, or components weighing over 150 lbs. Job tasks require movement, driving, and repetitive lifting, bending, and hand/arm motions. Maintains daily delivery logs. Make vehicles mechanical checks. Pick up and delivers miscellaneous items.

OUTPUTS

Required to physically contribute to the daily work that is assigned to him by the area supervisor. This includes pulling, loading and unloading orders for local and out of state trucks. This requires the ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a consistent basis which requires bending, stooping, and lifting items occasionally over head. Required to deal with customers as needed in a professional and respectful manner.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comply with Hard hat requirements at all times while on the job site

  • Ability to work with hands and cabinet moving equipment (dollies, straps, etc).
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs. independently and repeatedly (20-30) times per hour for a minimum of 8 hours on a daily basis.
  • Ability to move and to transport product weighing 75-150 lbs.
  • Ability to exert the amount of force needed to push or pull cabinets on a dolly that can weigh up to 200 lbs.
  • Ability to read and understand written driving instructions and map books.
  • Ability to operate scan function on cell phone to scan delivered product.

Pay Range

$26.22/hr - $28.53/hr
