Qualifications

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Missouri and/or Illinois as a Physical Therapist.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within one month of hire date.
  • BLS online certifications without a skills assessment component are not sufficient to meet requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a full patient caseload efficiently, ensuring effective schedule management and informing the supervisor of concerns.
  • Evaluates patients and determines a movement diagnosis.
  • Develops and implements tailored treatment plans considering diagnoses, findings, co-morbidities, patient goals, and prognosis, including plans for return to sport or work.
  • Completes accurate and timely medical record documentation using approved formats and ensures treatments are provided under referrals and insurance approvals.
  • Provides education and plans of care to patients and families, explaining diagnoses, activities, and expected outcomes.
  • Maintains regular contact with patients and referring providers to discuss progress and address concerns.
