Job summary

Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach, CA, seeks a Medical Director to lead our Movement Disorders Program. The physician leader will oversee outpatient neurology care (up to 90%) and drive strategic development, research, and philanthropy to position Hoag as a regional leader in movement disorders.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and help expand the program to Irvine, while advancing clinical trials and translational research to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• ABMS Neurology board certified or eligible.
• Fellowship in Movement Disorders from an ACGME program.
• California State Medical licensure or eligibility.
• Interest in participating in clinical program research and development.
• Excellent clinical care and communication skills in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to obtain full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Hoag Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Movement Disorders Program with clinical oversight and strategic development.
• Perform outpatient neurology care (up to 90%) and drive program growth.
• Foster research, translational studies, and philanthropic initiatives.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support new campus expansion plans.
