Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma from accredited Medical Assistant program or CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic cert, or related experience.
• Certified BLS Provider through AHA within 3 months of hire or transfer.
• All credentials must be maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic clinical and clerical support in patient care per MA scope.
• Perform direct patient care under provider supervision (vitals, history, screenings, health maintenance).
• Handle scheduling, check-in/out, referrals, chart prep, and prior authorizations.
• Conduct point-of-care testing with quality control and documentation.
