Job summary

Erickson Senior Living in North Dallas, Texas, seeks a Move-Out Coordinator to guide residents and families through the move-out process, coordinating logistics and communicating clearly. You will manage move-out activities, assist with contracts and final bills, and liaise with moving services while maintaining confidentiality and compassionate care.

The role supports a continuing care retirement community with a focus on smooth transitions.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a clear understanding of move-out handbooks and related contracts.
• Knowledge of legal documents and applicable state statutes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate logistics for vacating the unit, including scheduling activities and overseeing moving day arrangements.
• Support residents and families through the move-out process, addressing issues and coordinating with moving companies and utilities.
• Review key documents with residents/families, explain final bills and escrow processes.
• Refer families to Pastoral Ministries and Social Work when needed.
• Enter resident information into the Deposit Tracking System.
• Oversee completion of final bills and entrance deposit refunds.
• Monitor resale status of units and communicate updates to residents/families.
