Job summary

Abbey Residential Services, Inc. is hiring a Make Ready Technician for Abbey at Preserve Way in Tomball, TX. This full-time, on-call rotation position offers a bonus program and comprehensive benefits. You will help prepare apartment homes to be move-in ready and support a high-energy maintenance team.

The role emphasizes hands-on tasks, attention to detail, and excellent service standards, with weekend work and on-call rotation included as part of the duties.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of multifamily maintenance or make-ready experience.
HVAC certification preferred.
Detail-oriented with strong time management.

Responsibilities

Assist with moving and replacing appliances.
Inspect, repair, or replace faucets, sinks, bathtubs, tiles, and plugs.
Perform light painting, drywall patching, and caulking.
Replace or repair ceiling fans, blinds, light fixtures, and more.
Change HVAC filters and report issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Clean carpets using commercial equipment.
Assist with apartment trash-outs and property grounds upkeep.
Support the team with after-hours on-call maintenance (required rotation).
